It is always great to find easy but lovely crochet patterns that would capture your interest and won’t leave your thoughts until you pick up your crochet hook and yarn to make them. This lovely pattern happens to fall under that category, it’s one of the projects I have made that I couldn’t stop until it was all finished. Crocheting a beautiful shawl is one thing but crocheting a romantic lacy shawl is another thing. I really enjoyed making this shawl and I got the pattern here.
For me, it was not only the pattern that made it romantic but it was the colour I used to crochet the pattern, a very sweet shade of pink. Talk about romantic, eh? Again, I used Stylecraft yarn for this project and to let it drape around my shoulders, I got this cute shawl pin on Amazon to hold it at an angle.
The only twist I gave it is by adding tassels which I believe added a nice flair to the design.
Whilst, I’ve not shared a twist on this pattern with you today, I will share a tip instead.
TIP – Do you know that it is not ideal to hang your crochet garments on coat hangers? They are better folded and kept flat away from damp, dust and any form of direct heat.
I hope I have inspired you to give this pattern a go. I would love to hear your thoughts and comments about it.
