Everything we go through in life is like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, on its own it may not make sense or have a meaning but when they’re all joined together then it becomes clear to us why we went through what we passed through. Yes, it is intentional.
God’s ways are never our ways and His thoughts not our thoughts. When we think we can own the reins of our lives we quickly become weary and tired when things don’t go our way. Well, that may be because that is not God’s plan for our lives.
We must learn at all times to trust God’s process no matter how slow it may be. It’s better to be slow and long-lasting than quick but short-lived.
Love this song. Hope it ministers to you as it did me.
This song has for many years have a way of helping me to remember why I gave my life to Christ in the first place. Why you may ask? Because I love God and everything about Him. His love has changed me and has made me who I am today and even more, His love brings out the best of me and helps me look at life from a great perspective. Most of the things we offer Him are not what He requires. All He wants is for our hearts to worship Him. My heart. Your heart!
I remember singing this hymn as a teenager with very few ‘cares’ and perhaps not really relating to the lyrics as I do now. With so many issues of life staring at us in the face, it is very easy to complain, worry and become hopeless. However, we must remind ourselves constantly that we do have many things to be thankful for. What you have in abundance is someone’s miracle!
There is one name that is higher than any other name. Higher than the name of any sickness, problem, addiction or situation. That name is Jesus! At that name, the knees of any issue bow. This song is one I love and it speaks to me every single time I listen to it.
This song has always ministered to me. God steps in right at that moment when we really want a need met. All He’ s asking is ‘what’s that you have in your hands?’. Once you release it, just get ready for a floodgate of increase and abundance. Be blessed!
I just want to say that God is indeed a good good Father. Where I am today may not be where I want to be but I’m still grateful that I’m on a journey with Him leading me along the way. With a grateful heart, I sing this beautiful song of worship. Join me as we sing Good Good Father by Chris Tomlinson.
Sometimes, we go through storms and it may appear that God has left us or cannot save us. It may look like we would not come out of the situation we’re in but God never promised that we won’t witness storms. What He promised is that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Whatever the storm, He has given us the ability and His Word as an anchor to go through any storm and come out stronger than when we got in. It may seem that He’s not being on time, remember He is not running on our own time but His time. Stay strong and praise God in that storm.
